While your child participates in Basin Tech Explorers, we may collect:

  • With Staff & Volunteers: Basin Tech Explorers staff and volunteers have access to information needed to support student learning and safety. All staff sign confidentiality agreements.
  • For Emergency & Safety: If a child is in danger, we may share information with law enforcement, emergency services, or other authorities as required by law.
  • Student Portfolios: Student projects or work are only publicly shared with explicit written permission from parents/guardians. When shared, students are identified by first name and last initial only.

What We Do NOT Do

  • We do NOT sell student data to third parties.
  • We do NOT share data for marketing or advertising purposes.
  • We do NOT use children's information to build advertising profiles.
  • We do NOT post student photos or identifying information on social media without permission.
  • We do NOT share contact information with other organizations for recruitment or solicitation.

Basin Tech Explorers takes data security seriously. We maintain reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
