Basin Tech Explorers is committed to empowering students ages 8–17 in the Uintah Basin with essential technology skills and digital safety knowledge. We believe every child deserves access to quality tech education that builds confidence, creativity, and critical thinking—while prioritizing safety and responsibility in the digital world.
Through 12-week clubs, school partnerships, and community resources, we're building a generation of tech-savvy, digitally responsible citizens.
Board Chair & Co-Founder
Jackson Dozier is the visionary founder and board chair of Basin Tech Explorers. With a passion for educational technology and youth development, Jackson has spent over a decade working to improve access to quality tech education in underserved communities.
Jackson believes that every child, regardless of zip code or background, deserves access to inspiring tech education. His focus is on creating programs that are engaging, safe, and tailored to the unique needs of the Uintah Basin community.
Board Member & Education Director
Ken Caldwell brings deep expertise in educational leadership and curriculum innovation. As our Education Director, Ken oversees all program development, ensures alignment with educational standards, and champions evidence-based teaching practices.
Ken is committed to ensuring that all Basin Tech Explorers programs are developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned, and engaging. He works closely with schools and educators to create learning experiences that build real technical skills while fostering curiosity and confidence.
Board Member & Safety & Compliance Officer
David Aldridge is our Safety and Compliance Officer, ensuring that Basin Tech Explorers maintains the highest standards of child protection, data privacy, and operational compliance. David brings extensive experience in safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
David is passionate about protecting children and families while they explore technology. He ensures that every Basin Tech Explorers program meets or exceeds safety standards, that parent consent is properly documented, and that student data is protected with the highest level of security.
Jackson, Ken, and David represent a unique combination of expertise—education innovation, curriculum excellence, and unwavering commitment to child safety. Together, they create an environment where young learners can explore technology safely, confidently, and with joy.
